This is the instructions on how to use the CV1 coffee maker. The
instructions have both the visual and written instructions. The can be
useful if you happened to go home from a weeklong stay at the hotel and
'accidentally' packed this in your suitcase.

The Hamilton Inn usually keeps the coffee maker in the bathroom, which
kills the coffee aroma experience. If you now have one of these machines
at home you do not need to use it in the bathroom, unless you want your
home to feel like you are always on vacation at a hotel.

The Caffeine Awareness Association started the Caffeine Awareness Month to let people know about Caffeine addiction.
It isn't really about 'coffee' but caffeinated drinks such as soda and tea (as well as coffee).

This is a NEW coffee size offered at Starbucks.
Venti means 20 (as in 20 oz of coffee) in Italian
Trenta means 30 (as in 30 oz of coffee (really 31 oz)) - in Italian

Currently being tested in Phoenix and Tampa, FL
If sales are as they hope, it will expand to other cities!

Just think how much more productive you will be after downing a Trenta!

This was at the "Farewell, we are closing" day at Starbucks. The jazz
they played was uptempo traditional jazz - no Boney James, no Rick
Braun, and no Richard Elliot - not even a Paul Taylor melody. They gave
away free drinks from 4-7pm. The store encouraged visitors to see the
staff at their new, pre-existing Starbucks location. We hope people
were not 'let go' so these workers could have somewhere to work.

These jazz people were at the new location, playing the same style of
jazz. Both the Farewell and Welcome jazz sounded the same. Starbucks
needs some better mood setting music. Like the ones we recommend:

Looks like any other latte. The toffee nut is syrup they add to the
latte. This is a really good flavor, much better than the caramel
flavor. It is like a very mild caramel, much smoother and not as sweet
tasting, like a heath bar-ish flavor. Since it has syrup and is a latte
you will pay quite a bit for this. Go cray-zee one day and order this!

Bed Bath and Beyond Coffee Makers - Not Recommended ~ Poor Store Policy on Supplies

We DO NOT recommend getting an espresso maker at Bed Bath and Beyond because they continue to use the display model coffee machines, while not having the inventory to actually SELL you a coffee maker. They leave the display model up and say 'we can get it for you' (yadda). This has happened in two different stores with two different espresso machines.
So the store is more like a real life Amazon store, where you can see the item, you just cant drive home and use the item the same day.

The DO offer to sell the display model, which is usually missing parts and manuals. FAIL.

Anyone else experienced this poor service (with coffee makers, or any other product).

Charmin and Espresso Coffee Commercial ~ Espresso Caffeine Content

Have you seen that commercial where the 2 bears are really tired, and one is drinking a Cup of Coffee, and the other bear
has an Espresso and offers it to the other bear.
Then the bear perks up and the commercial compares that to 'getting a lot from a little'.
Well, first comparing espresso to Charmin Toilet Paper is just WRONG!
Second, espresso usually has equal or LESS caffeine than a cup of coffee.
It will TASTE stronger, and you can get your caffeine quicker, but it isn't MORE caffeine.

Charmin needs to stick to their TP and leave coffee out of their marketing efforts.

This was given out FREE as this Starbucks is scheduled to close. The
place was PACKED! Any tall drink was FREE, as well as any 1 pastry item.
2nd free drinks were permitted as well. They even had a free raffle.
Some people were lucky enough to win prizes (hint hint, see next blog
post tomorrow!)

Burger King will change the BK Joe to Seattle's Best coffee throughout this year.
It will not be at ALL of their restaurants, but about 7,000 of them will change to the new coffee.
Seattle's Best is a branch of Starbucks brand. Starbucks acquired Seattle's Best in 2003.
The coffee will have the Seattle's Best logo on the cups.
Did you know Starbucks declined to supply McDonalds with the espresso they now use for the McCafe.
