This was at the "Farewell, we are closing" day at Starbucks. The jazz
they played was uptempo traditional jazz – no Boney James, no Rick
Braun, and no Richard Elliot – not even a Paul Taylor melody. They gave
away free drinks from 4-7pm. The store encouraged visitors to see the
staff at their new, pre-existing Starbucks location. We hope people
were not 'let go' so these workers could have somewhere to work.
These jazz people were at the new location, playing the same style of
jazz. Both the Farewell and Welcome jazz sounded the same. Starbucks
needs some better mood setting music. Like the ones we recommend:
http://www.wegotcoffee.com/music you know, coffee drinking music, not
old 1952 jazz.
