Journal in the Life of a Real Coffee Drinker| Random thoughts and expressions involving caffeine, or experiences around the process| real life commentary.
Taken with the fxcamera app. The Starbucks does look old with this photo filter thing, and the interior design does look a bit 60s ish.
December 2012 – Heard that the patent for the K-Cups is set to expire soon, meaning the grocery stores will be able to make their very own cheaper k cups. If you’ve noticed in the coffee aisle you can see that just stocking a few varieties takes up a lot of shelf space. There is never really empty space on the shelves, so something was removed, or given less space, so the large k cup boxes could have space. Most likely canned coffee that had two or three rows, now …
Had an uneventful coffee at Chili’s restaurant in Florida. The price, 2012, was $2.19.
The server, most likely not a coffee drinker (her name was Cage), offered a refill when she noticed the coffee cup getting low. Taking her up on the offer she returns and refills the coffee with DECAF. Aside from knowing it was decaf when drinking the coffee, the container she poured the coffee from had an ORANGE lid. Orange, you know, means decaf.
The receipt had a Fill in the Survey about Your Experience thing, at chilis-survey.com. The …
May your dinner and dessert be blessed with the perfect coffee. Be thankful it is not decaf or some low grade instant coffee. Oh, and don't drink the last cup of coffee unless you plan to brew more for everyone else.
We recommend a nice dark roast by 8 O'clock coffee, or one of those real dark blends from Starbucks.
Bless this Mess

Twice is nice.
The 2012 mcdonalds coffee prices. And many mcdonalds are opened for Thanksgiving day.
Yah, I want a McCafe My Day.

The different sizes, mostly the smaller cheaper size of Keurig, can make you consider getting the Keurig for Christmas, or at least ask someone else (Santa?) for the machine. Assuming you drink a decent amount of home brewed coffee, the the Keurig could be a good idea, or an impulsive bad idea. Below we list some good reasons, and then some of the bad reasons to get a Keurig.
The good reasons:
The fresher coffee from the Keurig – each K Cup is sealed fresh, so each cup you make will be …
Someone came into the cafe this week looking for Silky Black cold coffee drink, which is the cold coffee drink we got at Disney Epcot. The drink was in the Japanese section of Epcot. We hope our review was helpful. Then, moments later, someone came into the coffee cafe (meaning, visited the wegotcoffee website) looking for Starbucks Holiday, we presume they were looking for the current holiday drink list at Starbucks. Each year they seem to add something new, and bring back the popular drinks from the years before. The …
November 2012 – Got the email from Starbucks about their holiday flavors of VIA. They had the Christmas blend last year, which is very good, but where are some new holiday flavors? Pumpkin always sounds better than it tastes, no matter what brand it is, but some fictional flavors would have been fun. Something fun, in the Starbucks way, such as a Sleigh Ride Blend, or Mr and Mrs Claus Blend, you know, a romantic blend for couples.
We love the way Starbucks always decorates their stores for the holidays, so, …
October 2012 – Made it through the 2nd presidential debate and nobody asked the Pizza Hut question. Suddenly a big champion of coal – Obama on the comments of Mitt Romney referencing a coal mine in Mass.
Did we learn anything? The president was passionate and focused. Get home in time to make dinner?
Oh, Yeah, drink more coffee, and choose to grind your flax seeds before you eat them for maximum benefits.
President Obama was forceful in this 2nd debate.
Obama was Angry!
Oct 2012 – Starbucks had a promotional latte event, not to promote their latte drink, but to promote their new Keurig style machine called the Verismo. The limited free latte hours were from 4 to 6pm at most Starbucks stores on Oct 15, 2012. Maybe not the best time to offer a latte as most people would still be at work or just not thinking about a pre-dinner latte.
Would having a free latte make you think, WOW, I want to get one of these real expensive machines so I don’t …
