Other Herbal Caffeine Sources

Guarana with...
Some products add Guarana Seed Extract such as Ginseng with Guarana (also called Ginseng Rush). Some of these mixes can be found by looking here.

Green Tea
Very low on the caffeine - this has about 12mg per cup. You'll have to drink a lot of tea to get your caffeine buzz. Green tea has Epigallocatechin Gallate (EGCG), which is a very potent antioxident. You'll need about 500mg to reach a significant benefit level. You can read more about these benefits on WebMD

Black Tea
Now this has about 40-100mg of caffeine - pretty close to a 7oz. cup of coffee which has 115-175mg. You'll have to brew your tea for about 5 min to extract 40-100mg. The best black tea for caffeine is called Assam - this isn't a brand, it is the type of tea grown in The Assam Valley in India.

Interesting fact:

Green tea and black tea are from the same plant! For green tea the leaves are steamed or heated before drying. For black tea the leaves are fermented before drying. This is why green tea looks 'green' in the cup, and black tea looks more 'orange/red'.
